Modified 1960 MG MGA 1600 Roadster

Text Leads to 21002: This 1960 MG MGA 1600 roadster was modified more than two decades ago in the style of a Le Mans race car. Finished in green, the car was converted to right-hand-drive and features smoothed bodywork with a divided cockpit, a left-side tonneau cover, an acrylic windscreen, a grille-mounted driving light, a vented hood, and a central fuel filler. Power comes from a 1.6-liter inline-four equipped with dual SU carburetors and linked with a four-speed manual transmission. Inside, the bucket seats are trimmed in green upholstery and joined by a banjo-style steering wheel as well as Jaeger and Lucas gauges. Work performed since the current owner's acquisition in 2005 has included refreshing the fuel and cooling systems.
