1972 Lotus Elan Sprint

For Sale: This 1972 Lotus Elan Sprint was initially sold at the Sportscar Store of Downers Grove, Illinois, and underwent refurbishment work from the late 1990s through the mid-2000s. The car is finished in yellow and white over black upholstery and is powered by a 1.6-Liter “Big Valve” inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes dual SU carburetors, a black convertible soft top, 13″ Minilite-style wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, pop-up headlights, power windows, and a Motorola push-button radio. Work performed in preparation for the sale involved refinishing the bonnet as well as replacing the steering rack boots and heater valve.
