It was completed in late 1973 and is said to have been delivered new in Los Angeles in June 1974. It later spent time under the ownership of former Grateful Dead photographer Andy Leonard until 2003. After being fitted with European-specification bumpers by its previous owner, the car was purchased by its current owner in 2017. Finished in copper over cream leather, the car features quadruple Weber carburetors, a ZF five-speed manual transaxle, a Citroën hydraulic system, four-wheel independent suspension, 15” Campagnolo alloy wheels, and air conditioning.
