It was subsequently modified to resemble a Mercedes-Benz 300SL as part of a multi-year project completed in 2021. Finished in gray, the fiberglass body features wheel-arch “eyebrows,” fender louvers with twin horizontal aluminum spears, and upward-opening doors with removable windows. The interior is equipped with 190SL-sourced fixed-back seats trimmed in Camel leather as well as a tilt-down steering wheel, VDO-branded instrumentation, and air conditioning.
