This 1971 Lamborghini Espada was built for the US market in October 1970 as one of 575 Series II examples produced between 1970 and 1972. Chassis 8155 was sold new in Northern California and remained with the second owner from 1973 to 2016 before being acquired by the seller on BaT in May 2022 and relocated to Canada. It subsequently underwent over $36k CAD of work including refurbishment of the 15" Campagnolo cast magnesium wheels, rebuilds of the six Weber carburetors, and additional mechanical service. The car is finished in Argento and powered by a 3.9-liter quad-cam V12 mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It rides on Koni dampers and is equipped with Girling ventilated disc brakes, Lucas fog lights, and an ANSA exhaust with stainless-steel pipes. Inside, the 2+2 seats are re-trimmed in black leather and accompanied by Voxson eight-track player as well as air conditioning and power windows. This S2 Espada is now offered by the selling dealer in Canada with manufacturer's literature, a Lamborghini Polo Storico certificate, service records, a collection of prior awards, and British Columbia registration.
