Cars Buy Text- This 2022 Mercedes-AMG Track Series is #8 of 55 identical track-only examples produced for the model year to commemorate the founding of Mercedes-AMG in 1967. All examples are powered by a 778-horsepower twin-turbocharged handcrafted 4.0-liter V8 linked with a six-speed sequential transaxle and an electronically adjustable differential. Finished in Designo Iridium Silver Magno with red, white, and black accents, the car features a roof hatch, a ducted hood, fender vents, a rear diffuser, and an adjustable rear wing and front splitter, as well as underbody aerodynamic components. The cockpit houses carbon-fiber seat boxes fitted with a Schroth multi-point harness along with a roll cage, a fire suppression system, driver’s nets, a yoke-style steering wheel, and a Bosch DDU digital display. The car rides on 18″ forged aluminum wheels, Pirelli racing tires, two-piece steel ventilated and slotted rotors, AP Racing calipers, and adjustable coilovers and sway bars.
